PROTEK™ brand surface protection tapes and films shield surfaces from dirt, scratches, tool marks, and more. Our easy-peel surface protection tapes and masking films also guard delicate finishes, like metal and glass, from UV rays, stucco, and other surface contaminants. Use our line of temporary protection films during construction, demolition, installations, handling and transport.

Application

LAMATEK Surface Protection Films are easy to apply and remove cleanly when your project is finished. Just unroll the film and smooth it over the surface you want to protect. Make sure your substrate (the surface you’re sticking it to) is clean, dry, and free from any dirt, oil, or debris before you apply the film. Dirty or dusty surfaces will not allow the adhesive to bond properly and then the tape may not stick.

Put-up

LAMATEK’s masking films are cut into rolls on a 3” core tube. We’ll even custom cut it to your specific custom width.

Finding Your Match

Each PROTEK™ surface protection product is compatible with a specific set of materials and finishes so we do recommend that you test the film in your application. This is especially important with unknown or uncommon substrates.

Materials

PROTEK™ Surface Protection Films are available for use in various scenarios with different levels of UV resistance depending on your need. The following tapes have been engineered to provide damage protection on a range of substrates:

PROTEK™ Black & White Masking Film:

• 2.8 mils thick
• Rubber-based adhesive
